At BSMHFT, we are always seeking to improve the way we provide interventions and develop new clinical skills and expertise. We are expanding our Hub OT team in the East of Birmingham and looking for a an experienced mental health OT with a keen interest in recovery orientated approaches and an interest in working within a developing OT team committed to improving our practise and clinical outcomes.
You will work alongside an OT Team committed to offering recovery based care and excited about developing and enhancing your OT assessment and formulation skills. As a team member, you will support in triaging referrals, offer OT assessments, support to referrers and limited intervention within a clinic setting. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrate evidence of post qualification study, and evidence of work with service users and colleagues in a way that reflects our Trust Values by providing committed and high quality care.
Our team of OT staff in CMHTs includes apprentice, Technical Instructors, OT and OT Line Manager. OT staff enjoy good relationships with our multi-disciplinary teams and it is important to us that our OT's are flexible, energetic, have a positive attitude and demonstrate an ability to work autonomously when needed.
The utilisation of job plans, CPD and professional development opportunities are important for our CMHT teams and we have access to CPD and other recognised training and supervision.
