Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse Department: Stem Cell Transplant Unit Salary: 46,201 - 56,482 Location: Duchess of Devonshire Wing Job Type: Permanent, Full time Hours: 37.5 hours per week, worked across Monday to Sunday, on rotation We're expanding our Oncology services at The London Clinic and have a fantastic opportunity for a Band 6 Charge Nurse/Sister to join our Haematology team within the state-of-the-art Duchess of Devonshire Wing. The role We are currently looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Band 6 Sister / Charge Nurse to join our specialist Stem Cell Transplant Unit at The London Clinic. This is a senior nursing opportunity where you will play a pivotal role in delivering safe, personalised care to patients undergoing complex haematology and stem cell transplant treatments. About us The Stem Cell Transplant Unit is part of our world-class cancer services department, based in our purpose-built Duchess of Devonshire Wing.



We specialise in haematology-led care, including autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplants, and adhere to the highest clinical standards including JACIE-FACT accreditation. Established in 1932, The London Clinic is one of the UK's largest private hospitals, with eight state-of-the-art facilities in the heart of London's medical community around Harley Street. Key Duties: Lead the safe delivery of care for patients undergoing haematology treatment and stem cell transplants Supervise and mentor junior staff while deputising for the Ward Manager when required Participate in audits, quality improvement, JACIE accreditation activities and multidisciplinary team meetings Administer cytotoxic chemotherapy and blood products in line with protocol Promote patient-centred care and ensure safe documentation, drug administration and infection control Act as an effective resource and point of contact for patients, families and colleagues Benefits: We offer a range of benefits including flexible working and great career opportunities.
