Band 7 Arrhythmia Clinical Nurse Specialist / AHP - 37.5 hours available
North Cumbria Integrated Care are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Arrhythmia Clinical Nurse Specialist / AHP to join our expanding, friendly team.
North Cumbria Integrated care comprises of two main hospital sites, the Cumberland Infirmary Carlisle and the West Cumberland Hospital Whitehaven, with two smaller satellite sites. We are currently recruiting due to the development of a new Community Diagnostic Hub which will be based in Workington.
The post holder is responsible for the development, provision and co-ordination of the Arrhythmia Cardiology Specialist Service at North Cumbria Integrated Care (NCIC).
The Arrhythmia Nurse Specialist / AHP will provide a vital role to the already existing Cardiology service.
Be responsible for nurse led clinics such as Atrial Fibrillation Clinic and Palpitations Clinic at the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC).
Be responsible for the delivery of Direct Current Cardioversion (DCCV) service including pre-assessment and the post procedure follow up.
Also be responsible for a defined patient caseload; providing professional care, support and education to patients and their carers within the cardiology service.
