An opportunity has become available for a band 7 Bladder Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) post. The successful candidate will be expected to offer support and care to patients diagnosed with non-muscle invasive bladder cancer. They will be expected to work within the Bladder Cancer Team including attending multidisciplinary team meetings, following a patient's journey using an electronic care pathway, and running independent nurse led clinics. As the patient's keyworker they will also be expected to act as a conduit between patients, carers, colleagues, and primary care.
We are seeking a motivated, proactive nurse with vision and maturity, and knowledge of urology nursing. The successful applicant will be required to work in close collaboration with the urology teams as well as other health care professionals within the wider acute and primary care settings.
To apply, experience and knowledge of urology nursing is essential. Experience in bladder cancer care is desirable You should also be an excellent communicator and be able to demonstrate the ability to inspire and manage change. You should be willing to learn and be an active member of the nursing team.

This post is full time (37.5 hours per week), on a 12 month fixed-term contract and will be based across sites (Royal Free Hospital & Barnet Hospital).
