Providing care and support to critically ill patients and their families, whilst leading a team of dedicated and motivated critical care nurses.
Looking to continuously develop the critical care services we provide and empower the teams to drive this vital service forward.
Responsible for the continuing daily management of ITU and provision of effective clinical leadership to facilitate the delivery of patient care, and guidance to designated specialist care teams for critically ill (level 2/3) patients.
Ensure that the highest standard of care is delivered to patients in the department and is responsible for the continuing assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of nursing care.
Manage a team of highly skilled nurses and develop the future workforce.
Contribute and support the Matron in the development of ICU/HDU.
