Summary
We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join our team in the United Kingdom. Based in NHS Hertfordshire & West Essex ICB - The Forum, Hemel Hempstead, Herts (role is remote)>, this role is vital in supporting our HR initiatives, talent management, and workforce planning to ensure we continue delivering exceptional service to NHS Trusts and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
Conduct one to one consultation meetings on organisational change and advise on organisational change/voluntary redundancy matters
Support the existing HRBPs in all aspects of change management including answering questions and queries relating to the consultation, supporting the voluntary redundancy process, issuing settlement agreements, TUPE, and managing the leaver process, as well as supporting the filling of posts process as required
Support the work undertaken within the People function to ensure that HR services are fit for purpose in the new merged organisation by taking the lead in some aspects such as policies, processes etc
Some background information - we are in the middle of a consultation process across
Herts and West Essex, Cambridge and Peterborough and Bedford, Luton and Milton
Keynes ICBs, to reduce our costs by around 50%. We are running a joint consultation which impacts around 1400 individuals split across 3 organisations.
Collaborate with senior management to develop HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Manage employee relations, ensuring compliance with NHS policies and employment laws.
Support recruitment processes, including onboarding and talent acquisition.
Analyse HR data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
Oversee HRIS systems such as Workday, Taleo, and PeopleSoft for accurate data management.
Facilitate communication between staff and management to foster a positive work environment.
Assist in workforce planning and succession planning activities.
Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives across the organization.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role within healthcare or large organizations.
Strong knowledge of HRIS systems including Workday, Taleo, and PeopleSoft.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data effectively to support decision-making.
Familiarity with UK employment laws and NHS policies.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
