Job Description

Are you an organised and people-focused professional looking to make a real difference in a healthcare setting? We're looking for an administrator/receptionist to join our Bank team at Practice Plus Group MSK (Musculoskeletal), Buckinghamshire.
In this flexible, bank-based role, you'll play a vital part in supporting the delivery of Physiotherapy and diagnostic imaging services, within a fast-paced, patient-centred environment, working alongside a friendly and diverse team of clinicians and administrators
We're seeking someone who is calm under pressure, enjoys teamwork, and can confidently use their initiative while following established procedures.
What you'll be doing
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing patient referrals and accurately capturing clinical and demographic data
  • Managing and forwarding diagnostic and discharge reports to referrers and patients
  • Answering and directing patient and customer queries professionally and promptly
  • Supporting appointment scheduling and assisting with accurate data entry
  • Providing a professional and friendly reception service when required
  • Maintaining confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive patient information
As a key part of your duties, you'll help ensure a smooth and efficient clinical process.
What we'll look for in you
We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused administrator/receptionist who has:
  • Strong administrative and data entry skills with good keyboard speed and accuracy
  • Previous experience in a customer service or telephone-based role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise and multitask effectively in a busy environment
  • A warm, approachable, and professional manner
  • Willingness to learn and work flexibly as part of a team
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting or familiarity with medical terminology - desirable (but not essential)
