Are you passionate about animal welfare and looking for a hands-on role with a diverse range of species? Join our Animal Unit team and play a vital part in ensuring the highest standards of care for our College's animal collection.

#

What you'll do:

Care for a wide variety of animals

including livestock, poultry, exotic mammals, fish, reptiles, and amphibians.

Clean accommodation and provide daily feeding.

Maintain accurate animal records and conduct regular health checks.

Administer medication as required.

Uphold health, safety, hygiene, and security procedures across the Animal Unit and practical areas.

Support learners with practical tasks and supervise volunteers.

This role will involve lone working on a Sunday, some Saturday's and some bank holidays. You will need to be self-motivated and have excellent time management. The successful candidate will hold a Level 2 Animal Care qualification or have significant professional experience.
