Job Description
To communicate effectively with clients and carers, multi-disciplinary team members, other agencies and occupational therapy colleagues.To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to team discussions and decisions regarding client care. To provide support and education to clients and their carers on the safe fitting and use of any assistive technology and the implementation of rehabilitation programmes. To develop skills in motivating clients and/or carers to engage in the therapeutic process. To communicate sensitively with clients and their families using skills in conveying highly complexinformation where clients have communication problems or where English is not the first language.
