We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Bank Care Assistant to join our healthcare team, providing vital support to residents in assisted living, nursing homes, and community care settings. As a Bank Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering personalized care that promotes independence, dignity, and well-being. This position offers flexible shifts and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with diverse care needs, including those with dementia, developmental disabilities, or requiring hospice support. Responsibilities



Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoists lifts when necessary Monitor residents' vital signs and observe for any changes in health or behavior, promptly reporting concerns to nursing staff Supporting residents with nutritious meals and assist with meal service while respecting dietary restrictions and preferences Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas through routine cleaning tasks to ensure a safe environment Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being Follow infection control procedures diligently during patient care activities and adhere to all safety protocols including CPR and first aid when needed

Qualifications



Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care environments is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to monitor vital signs accurately Experience in documentation of care Experience with assisting residents with ADLs, medication administration, and care planning is desirable Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks such as transferring residents with equipment like Hoists Strong communication skills for working effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for individuals with disabilities or chronic health conditions

Pay: 12.30 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 42 per week
