Overview

As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and high-quality care to individuals in their own homes . Your primary focus will be to support clients in their daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position requires a dedicated individual with strong communication skills and the ability to follow care plans effectively.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support clients in daily living activities, including meal preparation and medication management. Implement and follow individual care plans tailored to each client's needs. Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in health or behaviour. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients. Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.

Skills

Proficient in English with excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and colleagues. Experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential. Ability to understand and implement care plans accurately. Basic IT skills for maintaining records and communicating within the team. A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients as needed. Strong interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with clients and their families.
