Job Title:

Bank Children's Residential Support Worker

Location:

Handsworth, B20 and Cradley Heath, B64

Hourly Rate: 12.80 - 13.80

(dependent on experience and qualifications)

Hours:

Bank hours, pick up shifts as and when you please

Shift pattern:

7:30-21:30 for day shifts; 21:00 - 8:00 for night shifts

The Role:


As a

Bank

Children's Residential Support Worker

, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding therapeutic care, and creating a safe, stimulating environment for children at all times. Your key responsibilities will include:

?Being a role model:

Act as a positive role model for young people and colleagues, provide guidance and support to young people in order to create a safe and happy environment for everyone at Insight Care.

? Supporting Young People:

Act as a key worker, promote life skills, independence, and personal development. Plan and participate in engaging activities and educational programs.

? Care Planning:

Support with the development and updating of personalised care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support plans to meet the needs and goals of each child, with a keen focus on their views, wishes, and feelings. Experience using ClearCare is preferred, but not essential.

? Safeguarding & Compliance:

Maintain strict adherence to safeguarding policies and ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and Quality Standards.

? Communication:

Build strong relationships with children, families, and external agencies to ensure unrivalled holistic care for young people.

Key Requirements:



?

Experience working with young people in a residential care setting.

?

Strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.

?

Commitment to the safety, well-being, and development of children.

?

An empathetic and resilient nature.

?

Full Manual UK Driving Licence (preferred).
