We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Bank Residential Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to children and families, assisting with daily activities and ensuring the well-being of those in our care. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively communicate and collaborate with both children and their families, while also adhering to care plans tailored to individual needs.
Duties
Assist children with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and educational support.
Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
Maintain accurate records of progress and any incidents that occur during support sessions.
Foster a safe and nurturing environment for children, promoting their emotional and physical well-being.
Communicate effectively with children, families, and team members to ensure a cohesive approach to care.
Drive to various locations as required for home visits or community activities.
Utilise IT skills for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes.
Requirements
Previous experience working with children is essential; experience in childcare settings is highly desirable.
A valid driving licence is required for this position.
Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children and their families.
Familiarity with developing and following care plans is advantageous.
Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and using relevant software applications.
