About the role

Clinical Research Nurses

work within our multidisciplinary clinical unit to deliver high-quality nursing care and support the safe conduct of clinical trials. They are responsible for performing clinical procedures, monitoring participant well-being, and ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with study protocols and regulatory standards. Full training is provided.

Key responsibilities

Delivering safe, evidence-based care aligned with study protocols and GCP standards

Performing procedures such as ECGs, vital signs, IV cannulation, venepuncture, and blood processing

Administering investigational products and prescribed medications

Monitoring participant well-being and responding appropriately to clinical changes

Acting as Nurse in Charge when required, overseeing staff and participant safety

Requirements

Current

NMC registration

(Registered Adult Nurse, unrestricted)

Minimum 3 years' acute care experience

(e.g., medical, surgical, ED, ICU, or Research) Can commit to a

minimum

of 2 shifts per week and have Flexibility to work a rotating 7-day roster (morning, afternoon, and overnight shifts)
Confidence to act as

Nurse in Charge

, managing both clinical and operational priorities

Excellent time management and communication skills

Team-focused attitude with initiative and problem-solving ability

A positive and fun personality. We work hard but we like a laugh and love working with other staff who show initiative and find solutions!

Premium rates for working evenings (after 2000 h), nights and weekends
