About the Role:



As a Community Care Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting our clients to live comfortably and independently in their own homes. You'll provide person-centered care that respects their individual needs, choices, and dignity.

Responsibilities:



Provide compassionate care:

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, medication management, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.

Promote independence:

Encourage clients to make their own decisions and maintain their independence as much as possible.

Observe and report:

Be attentive to clients' needs and well-being, reporting any concerns or changes to the office promptly.

Teamwork:

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure clients receive coordinated care.

Maintain a safe environment:

Identify and report potential hazards within the client's home.

Adherence to standards:

Follow Unicare Devon's policies and procedures, ensuring the highest quality of care.

Professional development:

Attend training sessions and complete online courses to stay up-to-date on best practices.

Skills and Experience Required:



Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care is preferred, not essential 2 Years experience is desired but not essential

Pay: 12.41-24.82 per hour
