Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust is seeking experienced Band 3 Healthcare Assistants to join our Bank Workforce in preparation for the winter season. This is a vital opportunity to support our services during a period of increased demand, ensuring our patients receive safe, effective, and compassionate care.
Primarily the shifts for this service mainly operate within our Mental Health units based at Newbridges, Miranda House, Mill View Court / Lodge, Maister Court, Cottingham Road, Hull. However, as a member of our bank you will be able to pick up shifts trust wide.

Main duties of the job
As a Band 3 Healthcare Assistant, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality personal care and support to patients
  • Assist with mobility, nutrition, and hygiene needs
  • Monitor and record vital signs and observations
  • Support clinical teams in a variety of settings, including inpatient wards and community services
  • Provide emotional support to patients and their families
  • Work flexibly across shifts to meet service needs
About You
We're looking for individuals who:
  • Have previous experience in a healthcare setting (essential)
  • Hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Are compassionate, reliable, and adaptable
  • Can commit to working flexibly between December and March
  • Are passionate about delivering excellent patient care
