We have an exciting opportunity for a Bank Healthcare Assistant to join our Primary Care team at HMP Pentonville, a category B prison located in North London. HMP Pentonville is a male remand prison based in North London that has a capacity for 1200 inmates.
Hours
Bank Shifts for either the following shifts - 07:30-17:30 or 07:30-15:30
Flexible weekdays and weekends
Salary
This position is Bank, youll receive an hourly rate. 16.58 P/H Weekdays 19.18 Weekends

Main duties of the job
As a Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. You will

• Support the registered nurse in implementing an agreed plan of care in association with the patient and in accordance with instructions and training received whilst promoting safe patient care
• Be willing to develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery.

Qualifications required

• NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care
• A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
• Excellent communication skills
• Good IT skills and IT literacy
• Ability to work within a busy environment
• Ability to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures

Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment
