Job Summary

We are seeking a Bank Kitchen Assistant to join one of our clients. The successful candidate will assist with meal preparation, food safety, and maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developing their culinary skills within a professional setting. Prior experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation and meal assembly in accordance with established recipes and standards Support the culinary team in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of kitchen areas Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times Help with the storage and rotation of ingredients to minimise waste Assist in serving meals to customers or staff as required Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any maintenance issues promptly Support the team during busy service periods to ensure smooth operations

Skills

Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is desirable Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety standards Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team Willingness to learn new culinary techniques and procedures Basic understanding of food safety practices and hygiene regulations
