We are seeking a

Bank Minibus Driver

to support our care home in providing

safe, responsive, and person-centred care

, in line with

CQC Fundamental Standards

. This role plays an important part in supporting residents' wellbeing, independence, and community involvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely transporting residents to and from

hospital, GP, and other healthcare appointments

Supporting residents to attend

day trips, social activities, and community outings

Assisting residents with

shopping trips

, promoting independence and choice Ensuring residents are treated with

dignity, respect, and compassion

at all times Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and ensuring the minibus is clean, safe, and roadworthy Safely assisting residents on and off the vehicle, using appropriate moving and handling techniques Following individual

care plans and risk assessments

relating to transport and mobility Adhering to

safeguarding

, health and safety, infection control, and lone-working policies Reporting any concerns relating to residents' wellbeing, safety, or vehicle condition in line with procedures

About You:

Holds a

full UK driving licence

(D1 essential) Has a

safe driving history

and good knowledge of road safety Demonstrates a caring, patient, and respectful approach to older people Understands the importance of

confidentiality, safeguarding, and professional boundaries

Reliable, punctual, and flexible to meet service needs Experience in a care or healthcare setting is desirable but not essential
