Hollybank Trust is a charity based in West and South Yorkshire and we are proud of our reputation for excellence over our rich history. Our mission statement is to provide education, residential care, plus a range of therapies and enrichment activities for children, young people and adults with profound and multiple disabilities. We focus on ability not disability and celebrate our differences.

We are looking for some experienced and values-led people to join our Bank Staff team specifically for night shifts. Typically, our night shifts start between 7:45pm and 9:15pm, and finish between 7:15am and 8:45am depending on the needs of the service. This will include any weekend shifts, so please only apply if you are able to work shifts in line with this.

When you start your role at Hollybank, we will ask you to do 2-4 weeks of shifts on days (including your mandatory Trust Induction) so that you can get to know our adults better. This will allow you to work closely with them, and develop a deeper appreciation of their likes, dislikes, routines, and communication methods. If you are not able to commit to this, please do not apply as we are not able to accomodate alternative inductions.

The role will be as varied as the people we support, but typical duties will include:

Supporting adults to engage in meaningful activities. Supporting adults with their night-time routine, including personal care and bathing/showering. Keeping the home tidy and clean, and some laundry duties. Checking adults regularly throughout the night in line with their care plan. Ensuring each individuals' care record is kept up to date and accurate. Team work and collaborative working.
