Bank Nursery Practitioner

Experience working in a childcare setting is required for this role. A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is desirable but not essential.

Pay:
12.21 - 14.35 per hour
*plus accrued holiday pay
Working Hours:
Zero hour contract - This gives you flexibility to work different shifts each week depending on the Nursery needs, between 8am-6pm - Monday to Friday.

About our Nursery
Our Peckham Nursery is on Sternhall Lane, directly off Peckham High Street only 5 minutes from the train station, it is easily accessible by foot, rail, or car. We are fortunate to have a large nursery for our children with plenty of space to explore inside, and we regularly go to a nearby park to explore the woodland and let off steam. At The Old Station Nursery Peckham, we are a fun and happy team here at our nursery in Peckham, with many long-serving staff members and strong connections with our families and the local community. What Your Role Involves
As a valued member of our team, you'll:
Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Monitor and celebrate children's development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
