We are looking for part time bank staff who are passionate about supporting young children in their early years.

This role requires you to work a minimum of one fixed day and time a week, and then offers you the flexibility to select other available days and hours to suit your schedule across our three settings.

About Hassocks Private Day Nursery and Pre School

Hassocks Private Day Nursery and Pre School is an independent, family owned Day Nursery in Hassocks. Part of a group of 4 local nurseries, it is set at the base of the SouthDowns with beautiful views of the Jack Jill Windmills, where educators care for children in a beautifully curated setting, with a large outdoor area. Children have access to an array of peripatetic classes including Yoga, Football, Phonics and Spanish and they flourish under the care of our highly skilled educators.

The Role of our bank staff

You must be reliable, caring and genuinely enjoy working with the wonderful children we care for, from babies to pre schoolers.

Bank staff are key members of the nursery team, assisting our qualified staff members with day to day tasks and educational activities.

Bank shifts are published by our nursery managers both in advance and sometimes at a moments notice, by downloading our rota app onto your phone you will receive an instant notification that a shift is available for you to claim.

Reliability and time keeping will be of the utmost importance.

We may also have shifts available in our family club where you can be involved in anything from classes, to cleaning and helping out in our cafe!

Safeguarding:

All applicants must undergo a DBS check and 2 satisfactory references will be required.
