Our Nursery

Active Kids is a family-run day nursery in the heart of Hangleton, providing care for children aged 3 months up to 5 years. We treat every child as we would our own, promoting an active lifestyle and creating a home from home environment. Our philosophy of "learning through play" nurtures each child's unique talents, whilst helping them to develop active minds and healthy bodies to prepare them for the future.

Active Kids offers:

A Principal with over 25 years of experience in childcare and a focus on excellence in EYFS curriculum, service and care provision Highly qualified staff, many of whom are mums themselves. The Team

We are looking for a Bank Staff member to be a part of our dynamic team of experienced and friendly staff.

Applicants must:

work well as part of a team, closely partnering with other members of staff to provide a stimulating learning environment; be enthusiastic about learning; provide a safe and stimulating environment for children to develop in; excellent communication skills and the ability to work under direction.

Duties will include:

Full training and support will be given; Planning and preparing activities for the children; carrying out risk assessments; supervising meal times; Promoting a clean and stimulating environment, and working as per the policies and procedures of the setting.

28 days paid holiday including the bank holidays and Christmas closure for full-time members of staff pro-rata.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
