Little Dolphins Preschool are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and creative Level 3 Preschool Practitioner-bank staff member with a desire to create exciting and stimulating learning opportunities for the children in our care.

Main Duties

To provide flexible, short-term cover for the permanent staff; often at short notice.

To be kind, caring, patient and resourceful

Help support, and deliver a range of fun, varied and inspiring play opportunities for the children.

Safeguard the children's wellbeing and promptly raise any concerns to the Preschool's Designated Safeguarding Lead.

To help set up for the day ahead and to help tidy away at the end of the session.

To work in partnership with parents/carers and other family members.

To support the children with outdoor learning activities.

Job Specification

Essential:

Relevant Level 3 qualification. Relevant experience in working with children. Knowledge of EYFS, SEN, Safegaurding and childcare Act 2006. Knowledge of child development. Understanding of equal opportunities. Awareness of Health & Safety. Team worker. Punctual. Good communication skills.

Desirable:

A peadiatric first aid certificate. Food Hygeine Certificate. Experience of working in an early years setting. Competant ICT skills.
