Every shift is a chance to help young people rebuild trust, confidence, and a sense of belonging. You'll be part of a supportive team providing consistent, nurturing care, whether that's helping with daily routines, joining in activities, or being a calm, reassuring presence when challenges arise.

Key responsibilities include:



Building positive, trusting relationships with young people. Supporting daily routines such as mealtimes, education, and bedtime. Encouraging therapeutic and recreational activities, including outdoor play. Responding to challenges with empathy and composure. Working collaboratively with the permanent team to ensure consistency of care. Maintaining accurate records in line with safeguarding standards.
What You'll Bring

Experience in residential childcare or a similar care setting. Confidence supporting young people with complex emotional needs. A trauma-informed, empathetic approach to care. Reliability, resilience, and strong communication skills. A full UK driving licence. Availability for 24.5-hour shifts as outlined above.
