Job Description

We are looking for individuals to join our friendly team within Beckcare homes. We require people who are honest, reliable, hardworking and organised. Experience is essential alongside our in house training. The applicant will help

support individuals to live as independently as possible. Hourly rate quoted plus any holiday pay accrued, this is also paid at an hourly rate.

Duties vary depending on the needs and wishes of the individual. You will need to offer support for the individual's overall comfort and wellbeing and help people whom need support to live as independently as possible. Helping with food preparation and cooking, assist with basic personal hygiene and keeping a habitable home, assist with social interaction and help with budgeting. You will be providing interesting activities to stimulate and engage the service user. No personal care involved. There is an element of paperwork involved within the role as you will have to record client notes and liaise with their worker, so some basic computer skills required. The successful applicant should be able to work alongside others as well as independently and be flexible with tasks. The placement is in Ilfracombe, Barnstaple and Surrounding areas. The position may need someone that has a full driving licence and access to a vehicle as some support would require this as you would be working in the community as well as in house.

Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour
