Fixed Term until 30/06/26

Bank position 0 hrs per week

Salary Grade 5: 35,208 - 38,204 per annum (pro rata)



City of Glasgow College is pleased to announce that there is a vacancy in their dynamic, friendly and knowledgeable team of Work Based Assessors. We are recruiting an SVQ Assessor to assess the following qualifications on a Bank Contract- Facilities Management o Hospitality o Professional Cookery o Procurement o Social Services and Healthcare.



You will be an experienced professional within one of the above occupational sectors, with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines with little supervision. You will be pro-active, flexible, and be committed to CPD and the success of students.


The ideal applicant will have relevant qualifications in the above sectors as well as broad demonstrable experience in related disciplines, a relevant assessor/ verifier qualification, D32/33/34, A1/V1 or committed to undertake this with in the first 12 months.



Carrying out regular visits, you will develop and maintain effective relationships with candidates from diverse backgrounds and provide monthly reports on their progress.
You will maintain accurate records and provide timely feedback using College procedures and technology, meeting deadlines as required.


You will have the advantage of being flexible in your daily working hours over the course of the week, meeting with candidates and students in their workplace and placements.
