MJ Children have provided residential childcare services since 1999 . At present, we have a 4 bed home, 'The Birches', for young people aged 6-17, just outside of Whittlesey. We are in a period of development and are opening a home in Peterborough and another, 'The Willows' in Spalding, as well as some other projects.

The young people we care for have experienced a traumatic and neglectful early life, which presents through the emotional and behavioural difficulties they display. We understand the importance placed on our role as attachment figures, working to the therapeutic B.E.A.C.O.N model to provide love, care and support to our young people.

We are currently looking for Relief Residential Childcare Workers who must:

Be available to work 24 hours in a 28 day period, by arrangement.
*Be flexible to work across both Peterborough and Spalding sites.

Be committed to the care of our children that will take your energy, time, and huge effort.
Want the best for our children and, be prepared, you may become attached to them!
Be the kind of person who commits to a task and works tirelessly to achieve.
Present as a positive role model for the young people.
Aim to provide a safe, warm and supportive environment for the young people, maintaining high levels of cleanliness.
Support the rest of the team in aspects of the home's operation
