You will work closely with the kitchen team to create memorable dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes for banquets and events, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
Supervise kitchen staff during food preparation and cooking processes to ensure efficiency and adherence to food safety regulations.
Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for seasonal offerings.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored after use.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting with ordering as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to coordinate timing of food service during events.
Uphold food safety standards by following proper hygiene practices throughout all stages of food production.
Experience
Proven experience in a culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles.
Experience in supervising kitchen staff is preferred, demonstrating effective team management skills.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production is required.
A culinary qualification or relevant training would be advantageous but not mandatory.
