Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Banquet Cook to join our team and contribute to the culinary success of our banquets, events and sports teams. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, possess excellent culinary skills, and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes for banquets and events
- Ensure all food meets high-quality standards and is presented attractively
- Supervise kitchen staff during banquet service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area
- Assist in menu planning and recipe development
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines
- Coordinate with the event planning team to meet banquet requirements
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Experience in team management or supervising kitchen staff is advantageous
- Hospitality-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences
