Banqueting Chef

Full-Time (45 Hours)

Are you a passionate and highly organised chef with a flair for creating exceptional dining experiences for large-scale events? At Seamill Hydro Hotel & Resort, we are seeking a talented and dedicated Banqueting Chef to lead our team in delivering unforgettable culinary experiences across weddings, functions, and special occasions.

As Banqueting Chef, you will be responsible for the overall management of the banqueting kitchen, ensuring efficient and seamless delivery of exceptional food for all events. You will lead a team of chefs in contributing to dining experiences that exceed guest expectations and maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Responsibilities

Leading and motivating the banqueting kitchen team Overseeing food preparation, cooking and presentation, maintaining consistent quality and standards Managing food costs, stock control and ordering, ensuring efficient resource management Collaborating with the weddings and events, functions departments to ensure seamless event execution Training and mentoring junior chefs

What You'll Need:

Proven experience at Head Chef or Sous Chef level in high-volume kitchen environment Experience within conference and banqueting kitchen Excellent level of culinary skills with a passion for creating memorable dining experiences for guests A thorough understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations Excellent leadership and team management skills Strong organisational and time management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: 13.50-15.00 per hour
