In this role, you'll deliver excellent service under the guidance of the Catering Team Leader and Watermark Manager. Your responsibilities will include supporting daytime operations in the coffee shop and kitchen, as well as evening shifts for events, cinema screenings, and room bookings.

Purpose of the Role

The Bar & Catering Assistant plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the bar, coffee shop, and catering facilities at The Watermark. The post holder is responsible for delivering a high standard of customer service while ensuring the smooth and efficient preparation and service of food and beverages in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Set up the bar area following the opening and closing procedures checklist. Rotate and replenish bar stock, ensuring correct storage and usage. Count and verify till at start and end of service Provide excellent customer service during all events and functions. Support catering delivery at a variety of events, including cinema nights, live performances, weddings, parties, AGMs, and community forums. Serve drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and assist with buffet-style, hot buffet, and plated meal services. Adapt to different evening event formats, including themed and festive functions. Work to a high standard in preparing, cooking, and serving food to customers. Assist with setting up and operating the coffee shop area. Follow all applicable food hygiene regulations and local health policies. Assist with moving and setting up rooms for various events.

Pay: 13,196.00 per year
