Bar & Events Manager job description

Fletchers Bar & Eatery is an independent busy bar hosting live music, weddings, DJs and private parties.

We are looking for a dynamic Manager who would love to lead our great team and develop this fantastic venue further. You will be a driven hospitality professional with expertise in bar management, event planning, marketing, finance & strong IT skills. You also love ensuring people have a great time!

Responsibilities:

Coordinate the operations of our bar, food and events ensuring exceptional service delivery and guest satisfaction.

Provide hands-on management to optimize productivity and profitability.

Ensure all external events are executed to a high level of customer satisfaction.

Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.

Use IT skills for operational systems, including inventory management software, and online booking platforms.

Develop innovative promotional strategies and events to attract new customers

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry.

Proficiency in IT skills, including troubleshooting, problem-solving, and familiarity with relevant software applications.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with a customer-centric approach.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and delegate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
