Our Restaurant Bar Team are the ones delivering our Guests dining experience and they are responsible for delivering the standard of service expected.



On a quiet shift they can be found doing all the little jobs like cleaning, maintaining or training - the jobs that keep them up to date and our venues at the standard they should be. On a busy evening or weekend service they are wherever they are needed, making delicious cocktails, preparing hot drinks, serving coffees and cakes, running meals from the Kitchen or getting extra chairs for a large group.



Understanding the importance of teamwork, our team are great at multi-tasking, being experienced in all aspects of the Restaurant they know the hard work and attention to detail required.



All of our teams are highly engaged with all teams in the venue as well as the wider group and take a keen interest in the direction and journey of the business as a whole.

We pay a fair wage - with our hourly pay being higher than the Government rates, at a minimum. Your earnings will be further enhanced by our 10% service charges and other tips that guests leave - with 100% of tips being retained by the team.

Located in Wishaw, Lanarkshire, The Commercial is a hotel, bar and restaurant.



Our family friendly venue serves food 7 days a week from 12pm. Plus we have daily deals on our menu to make sure eating out is pocket-friendly as well as tasty!



With the major sports channels and large screen TVs guests can also enjoy the best of football, boxing and more, live!



We have a late-night bar too. Every Friday and Saturday we've got DJs providing a soundtrack to the weekend and are open til 1am, with classic drinks, shots and cocktails to enjoy! On a Thursday, we also have live acoustic music from 9pm.



For those visiting from further afield, our cosy hotel rooms are the perfect place to stopover, whether you're visiting for work or pleasure.
