Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted Serve food and drinks promptly and courteously Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tables and service areas Assist with food preparation when necessary, adhering to food safety standards Upsell menu items to maximise guest satisfaction and sales opportunities Handle payments accurately using the POS system Provide attentive guest services, addressing any queries or concerns promptly Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is advantageous Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling Familiarity with basic food preparation and culinary techniques Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour Ability to perform basic maths accurately for billing purposes Kitchen experience or culinary background is a plus but not essential Effective communication skills to interact clearly with guests and team members Upselling skills to enhance the guest experience while increasing sales potential
