Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Provide knowledgeable recommendations to upsell menu items and enhance guest satisfaction Ensure timely delivery of orders and check in with guests to ensure their needs are met Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and surrounding areas throughout shifts Handle guest queries courteously and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive experience Assist in setting up and clearing tables during service periods Follow food safety protocols and hygiene standards at all times

Skills

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; a friendly attitude and eagerness to learn are key Knowledge of food safety regulations and basic food preparation techniques Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities to handle busy service periods effectively Good communication skills with the ability to engage guests courteously and professionally Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately Familiarity with kitchen operations or culinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory Ability to upsell menu items naturally to maximise sales opportunities Guest service orientation with a positive attitude and team spirit

Pay: 13.00-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
