We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided to develop your skills further. Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times during service Assist with basic food preparation and kitchen tasks as needed Clear tables promptly and maintain a tidy dining area throughout service Provide attentive guest services, addressing any questions or concerns professionally Handle cash or electronic payments accurately using the point-of-sale system Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations and guest satisfaction

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is advantageous Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper serving techniques Ability to perform basic maths accurately for billing and transactions Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently Good understanding of food preparation processes and kitchen operations Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour Ability to upsell menu items tactfully to enhance the guest experience Organised, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team Flexibility to adapt to varying shifts and busy periods within the restaurant environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week
