We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bar Tender / Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong guest service skills and a passion for the culinary arts, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and satisfied. As a Bar Tender / Server, you will play a crucial role in upselling menu items, providing timely service, and maintaining a clean and organised dining environment.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed upon arrival. Take accurate food and drink orders while providing recommendations to enhance the dining experience. Upsell menu items effectively to maximise sales opportunities. Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Demonstrate excellent time management skills to balance multiple tables effectively during busy periods.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Strong guest service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences for patrons. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing bills. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A team player who is willing to help colleagues in the kitchen or front of house as needed.
