Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is advantageous, along with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. The successful applicant will be organised, efficient, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met Assist with food safety and hygiene practices in accordance with regulations Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities Manage multiple tables efficiently, prioritising tasks to minimise wait times Clear tables and ensure the dining area remains clean and inviting Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Provide knowledgeable recommendations about menu options and specials Handle guest queries or complaints professionally, aiming for swift resolution

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for enthusiastic candidates Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities Ability to perform basic maths accurately for billing and transactions Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour when engaging with guests Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus but not mandatory Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment A genuine passion for guest services and creating positive dining experiences

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
