We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring that customers enjoy a memorable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is advantageous, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued. The Server will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated Serve meals, drinks, and desserts efficiently while maintaining presentation standards Upsell menu items and daily specials to maximise sales opportunities Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times during food handling and service Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, supporting the kitchen team when required Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with health regulations Manage guest queries promptly and professionally, resolving any concerns to ensure satisfaction Handle cash or electronic payments accurately using the POS system Collaborate effectively with colleagues to deliver seamless service during busy periods

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are key Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is desirable Strong communication skills with the ability to engage guests courteously Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during peak hours Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment A professional appearance and friendly demeanour that reflects excellent guest service standards
