As a Waiting Staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Take accurate food and beverage orders, providing recommendations and upselling where appropriate. Serve food and drinks efficiently while adhering to food safety standards. Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests with their choices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests or dietary restrictions. Clear tables promptly after guests depart, preparing them for the next patrons. Handle payments accurately, ensuring basic math skills are applied for transactions. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and service stations throughout shifts. Assist in food preparation as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen team.

Skills

Previous restaurant experience is essential, with a strong understanding of hospitality principles. Proficiency in serving techniques and guest services to enhance customer satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices to ensure compliance in all food handling processes. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions effectively. Experience in kitchen or culinary roles is advantageous but not essential. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with both guests and team members.
