Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Front of House professional to join our busy gastro pub. This is a fast-paced, high-volume operation serving fresh, high-quality food and drinks across our restaurant, bar, and function spaces. With the ability to serve in excess of 600 covers daily, we require confident, customer-focused individuals who thrive under pressure and take pride in delivering outstanding hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer service on both the bar and restaurant floor Confidently serve food and beverages in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Prepare and serve cocktails to a high standard and with consistency Demonstrate strong wine knowledge, including recommendations and upselling Maintain excellent product knowledge of menus, ingredients, and allergens Ensure smooth day-to-day service across restaurant and function spaces Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently Work closely with the kitchen and management team to ensure seamless service Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with health & safety standards Act as a role model for service standards and customer care

Skills & Experience

Minimum of

2 years' experience

in a gastro pub or fresh food restaurant environment Fully trained on

both bar and floor service

Strong

cocktail-making skills

and solid

wine knowledge

are essential Experience working in

high-volume service

, ideally 600+ covers per day Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Calm, professional, and confident under pressure A genuine passion for hospitality and customer experience
