We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. Duties
Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm.
Take accurate orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen or bar staff.
Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in during their meal and addressing any special requests or concerns.
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities.
Handle payments accurately, process transactions, and issue receipts.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including table settings and service stations.
Follow food safety standards and health regulations diligently.
Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required, ensuring adherence to hygiene protocols.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
Qualifications
Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not mandatory.
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques.
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities.
Good communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Basic maths skills for handling payments and bills accurately.
Experience with guest services, upselling, and maintaining a positive attitude is desirable.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by the business schedule.
