We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bar back to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our bartenders and ensuring the smooth operation of the bar area. As a Barback, you will assist in maintaining the bar's cleanliness and organisation while helping to create an exceptional experience for our guests.

Duties

Assist bartenders in preparing and serving drinks efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Restock supplies such as liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice as needed. Help with food preparation when required, ensuring all items are ready for service. Communicate effectively with bartenders and other staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Support the overall hospitality efforts by providing excellent customer service to guests at the bar. Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen and bar areas.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques is advantageous. A passion for bartending and eagerness to develop skills within the industry. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required by business needs.
