The Shire London is a golf club on the outskirts of Barnet, we are the only Seve Ballesteros design course in the UK

We are seeking a friendly and experienced Catering Manager to oversee our bar/catering operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and food production, This role requires exceptional leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained. The Catering Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing catering events such as weddings/Parties and golf days

Responsibilities

Coordinate all aspects of catering events, including logistics, staffing, and equipment requirements. Establish and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service throughout the planning process. Handle any issues or complaints that arise during events promptly and professionally.

Requirements

Proven experience in a catering management role or similar position within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation and production. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail in event planning and execution. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
