Bar Supervisor/manager
Job Description
We are looking for someone to join our family. We have been established for over 12 years and most of our staff have been with us for a while. We are looking for someone who will complement the bar with a friendly, bubbly personality while still able to manage staff effectively.
As the bar supervisor / Manager you main responsibility will be overseeing the success and daily operations of the bar/cafe, encompassing aspects from staff management and inventory control to customer satisfaction and marketing.
This role involves ensuring the bar runs efficiently, maintains profitability, and adheres to licensing regulations.
Your be tasked with ordering and managing stock ensuring the bar is kept well stock and minimising waste, ensuring accurate accounting practices and balancing tills, overseeing customer interactions, ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience along with addressing any issues or complaints.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations inc alcohol licensing and workplace standards. Planning and executing marketing, special events and promotions to drive sales and attract customers.
Applicant must hold a personal licence for the sale of alcohol. Be trustworthy, have good time keeping skills and reliability is essential with flexibility of shift patterns changing.
Summary
As a Bar Supervisor/Manager, you will oversee daily bar operations, ensuring exceptional service and a vibrant atmosphere for guests. Reporting to the General Manager, you will leverage your leadership skills and supervising experience to manage a team effectively. Your culinary and bartending expertise will enhance our beverage offerings, while your commitment to food safety will ensure compliance with health regulations. With a focus on team management and hospitality, you will play a vital role in creating memorable experiences for our patrons in a dynamic bar setting.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.00-14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 28 - 45 per week
