Job Description
Gala Rugby Club is seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Convenor to lead our bar operations and create an exceptional experience for our members and guests. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service in a vibrant sports environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service, including bar rotas.
- Train, manage, and motivate bar staff to provide exceptional customer service.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control, ensuring optimal levels are maintained.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, pricing, and profitability analysis.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and responsible alcohol service.
- Build strong relationships with customers and address any concerns promptly.
- Coordinate bar setup for events, game days and special occasions.
Qualifications:
- Previous management experience in a bar or hospitality setting is essential.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in financial management and inventory control.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and possess relevant certifications.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.60 per hour

Weekend availability
