Job Overview

We are seeking new dedicated bar staff to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience, from taking orders to delivering food and beverages with a friendly smile. We are also looking for bar staff with mixology experience to join our already growing team in a premium late bar/restaurant in a prime Hove location. Experience necessary as this can get very busy during the weekends

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcome. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and drink options, including daily specials. Full bar tender duties serving all types of hot and cold drinks, cocktails and specialist wines Take accurate food and drink orders Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Assist with food preparation as needed, collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely service. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Clear tables and maintain cleanliness in the dining area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Support colleagues during busy periods to ensure smooth operations within the restaurant. Staff uniform required

Experience

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Confidence in speaking with customers is essential and familiarity with a high end venue would be beneficial. A proactive attitude towards upselling and assisting guests will be highly valued.
