As Bar & General Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring smooth service, team efficiency, and consistent delivery of our high standards. You'll be hands-on behind the bar, supporting your team, managing stock and budgets, and ensuring every guest leaves with a lasting impression.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and support a small team to deliver exceptional customer service.
Oversee all day-to-day bar operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, rota's and stock management.
Maintain and promote high standards of cocktail preparation, presentation, and consistency.
Develop and train team members to enhance skills and knowledge.
Manage supplier relationships, stock ordering, and inventory control.
Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and hygiene standards.
Handle customer feedback professionally and proactively resolve any issues.
Support the owners in driving business performance through events, promotions, and community engagement.
Manage and create engaging content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) to promote events, specials, and brand personality.
Requirements
Proven experience in a bar management or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of drink recipes and bartending techniques.
Confident with social media and comfortable representing the brand online.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Passionate about cocktails, spirits, and customer experience.
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
Confident in stock control, ordering, and basic financial management.
Flexible and willing to work evenings and weekends.
A hands-on leader who leads by example and inspires their team.
