Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bar Manager to support our team in delivering exceptional service and maintaining high standards of food preparation and hospitality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the restaurant or hospitality industry, with proven supervisory experience and a passion for culinary excellence. This role involves assisting in the daily operations of the establishment, ensuring that both staff and customers have a positive experience. Please note this is a hands on role, will include lock ups and late nights until 12 PM

Must be able to make cocktails, coffees and more importantly pull a pint and deal with cask.

Responsibilities

Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth functioning of the Bar Supervise and train staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas. Participate in food preparation and cooking as needed, demonstrating culinary skills to inspire team members. Manage inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as necessary to ensure seamless service. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to exceed guest expectations. Personal licence

Skills

Strong background in bar Previous supervisory or team management experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations to ensure compliance Experience in serving customers with a focus on hospitality excellence Barista experience is an advantage for establishments serving coffee or specialty beverages.
